Dr. Betty Kwoko Mgimba - Dir. Consultancy Services

Betty Kwoko Mgimba has been a seasoned Tanzanian banker by profession for the last 16 years but has preferred to be called a relationship manager for the last 24 years in different business industries. Betty holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Rajasthan (India), a Master in Business Administration and Finance from the African Graduate University (Uganda), a postgraduate in Leadership from Aalto University (Finland) and currently validating her honorarium doctorate to PhD from the African Graduate University in Philosophy - International Business.

Dr. Betty has been instrumental in researching, training, and building capacity for over 5,000 religious leaders, civil servants, women, and youth in financial education and start-up businesses a vocation that she refers to as a calling.

She is actively involved in diverse research, trainings, and consulting mainly in Economic Development, Financial Management, and Inclusion, Leadership and Customer Experience.

In 2021, she was among the 42 awardees of WIMA (Women in Management Africa) on the Top Women in Management in Africa for the year. She was later nominated as a WIMA Leadership Committee member as she supports the women's leadership agenda in Africa. She is a member of the Marketing Africa forum and a proud patriot (Tanzanian) who is in love with and proud of her country and all that it holds and represents. She has been part of several leadership and entrepreneurial competitions as a judge, keynote speaker, and panelist in supporting women's empowerment and youth.
